This video is made by a recently graduated nursing student. She is describing some of the things that she brings to her shifts and the important items that she uses to get through a 12-hour time period. Some of the things she mentions are snacks (granola bars and small, easy, quick snack mixes), hair ties, her Apple Watch, a phone charger, a folder and notebook, highlighters, and Advil. I could definitely see all of these items being useful when I am working and this video shows a lot of suggestions for brands of the items and where to purchase them.

All of these pictures represent important things in my life that have shaped me into the person I am today with the goals that I have. The first picture is a picture I took outside of Alexander Library on College Avenue. I really like to take pictures and the library is one of my favorite places to study. I spend a lot of time in the library and it really helps me to focus and get my work done. I took this picture right after I moved out this spring and it reminded me that everything will be okay and that I am lucky to be safe and healthy at home with my family and still able to learn. The next two pictures are of my pets at home. I have a cat named Milo and a dog named Sadie. They are very important to me and I really like visiting home because I get to see them. Next is a picture of some of my best friends at school. We all lived together this year and all of us are nursing majors. They are some of the smartest and most hard-working people I know. They each inspire me every day and make all of the studying we have to do not as stressful. The next picture is of grilled cheese. I am very interested in recipes and I enjoy eating healthy but I also know that sometimes it is important to treat yourself. Next is a picture that I took in New York. I hope to live and work in the city shortly after college. Next, I included a picture I took at a concert. Music really helps me relax and I listen to music while I study to help me focus. Country music is one of my favorite styles. After this is a picture that represents a club I am a part of called Project Sunshine. In this picture we are standing outside of Panera on College Avenue doing a fundraiser for the club. In this club, we prepare crafts and bring them to kids in the local hospitals. I really enjoy participating in this and the club is an important part of my school experience. Next is a picture that I took in the Outer Banks. I was born in Virginia and my family and I have gone to the Outer Banks every summer since I was little. It is one of my favorite places to go and I hope to eventually move there. After this is a picture of my brother and I. My brother is two years younger than me and we are really close. My family is a huge part of my life and are a big part of my support system. They always encourage me to do my best and work hard in school. I would not be the person I am without my family. Next is a picture I took outside of the Rutgers Academic Building. This is another one of my favorite places to study. Finally, I included a picture of one of the lessons from my Pathophysiology class this year. I was taking notes and studying, which is something that I actually really enjoy to do. My science classes are very interesting and I know that nursing is definitely the right choice for me.
