Sample Work

This picture is from the first time I visited Rutgers. This is the visit that helped me to make my decision on which school to attend. At this time, I knew nothing about Rutgers and could never have imagined the amazing experience I would get from coming here. I did not know about friends I would make, the classes I would take (and love), the professors that would shape me, or the school that would become my favorite place. Choosing Rutgers School of Nursing was the best decision I have made, and I am so happy with how everything has turned out since. This is what started my journey to become a nurse and became my home. The School of Nursing has provided endless opportunities to succeed and make the most of my education experience so far. It is hard to believe this was two years ago and that in the fall I will be starting clinical and working in the hospital every week.

This is a picture of some of the notes that I took last year in Anatomy. Anatomy is one of my favorite classes that I have taken so far, for not only one semester, but two! The course was challenging but I enjoyed the material and I spent a lot of time on this class. This class made me realize that I made the right decision going into nursing because I am really interested in how the human body works and I like to learn about science.

Letter of Recommendation

This is a letter of recommendation that my Anatomy and Physiology lab professor, William Scharf, wrote for me last year when I was applying for a scholarship. Not only did I enjoy learning the material covered in class, but my professors were committed to making sure that we understood the information and could apply it to be successful in the class.

I am also a part of the Rutgers School of Nursing Honors Program. We are enrolled in a seminar every semester and are required to complete a senior research project at the end of the program.
